Singapore A quaint boutique style hotel in picturesque Chinatown which is ideal for visitors who want to see the local lifestyle. Being a heritage building so the hotel has to comply to the conservation requirement in keeping the 2 panel wooden front door, this separate the hotel from the busy street outside. The automatic wooden door open up to a small cosy lobby with the receptionist welcoming you on your arrival. It has yellowish white marble flooring and reception counter. There are rooms to the left and right with settees and dining tables for meals or just lounging around. A small elevator sit next to the reception.The beige exterior is understated and blends in well with the surrounding shophouses. Some windows look down on the street. Restaurant There is no restaurant, simple breakfast are served at the reading room next to the lobby. However, coffee shops and restaurants are abundantly available on the street day and night.
The rooms are almost all different in size and shape. They are simple but clean with individual air-conditioning units. All room comes with 1 queen bed or 2 single beds and all have yellow and green strip bed cover. The bathrooms are simple with tiled floors and walls and standing shower. Some of the rooms are without window and due to room size constraint triple room are not recommended. Room Facilities :
Restaurant : There is no restaurant, simple breakfast are served at the reading room next to the lobby. However, coffee shops and restaurants are abundantly available on the street day and night. Hotel Facilities :
The Chinatown Hotel is located along Teck Lim Road, within the Central Business District. It is right at the heart of Singapore's most historic, colourful and well known ethnic area - Chinatown.
