Airport Shuttle Service
From the Airport
The MaxiCab airport shuttle offers a scheduled service with flexible routing to almost all hotels within the city (excluding hotels on Sentosa and Le Meridien Changi). Alighting points are flexible and any destination within the Central Business District is catered to including MRT stations. The six-seater Mercedes MaxiCab has wheel-chair accessible features and luggage room.
Frequency
0600 hrs to 0000 hrs daily at frequencies of 30 minutes during off-peak hours (0700 hrs to 1800 hrs) and 15 minutes during peak hours (1800 hrs to 2300 hrs).
Where to get tickets
Bookings and payment can be made at the airport shuttle counters located at Arrival Halls of Terminals 1, 2 and the Budget Terminal.
To the Airport
You can also enjoy a return trip with the Airport Shuttle Service back to the airport on the day of your departure. There are four designated pick-up points: Concorde Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Excelsior Hotel and Marina Mandarin to Singapore Changi Airport. The return trips from these hotels operate daily from 0800 hrs to 2200 hrs. Please proceed directly to these hotels at the scheduled pick-up times which are at one hour intervals.

• Luggage allowance for each passenger is one large bag and one hand-carry bag.

Buses
For maximum freedom, buy an ez-link card and hop onto a bus! The ez-link card can also be used on the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). SBS bus 36 runs between Orchard Road and Singapore Changi Airport. The public bus stations are located in Terminal 1 at Basement 2, and in Terminal 2 at Basement Level. Details of bus routes and fares are displayed at bus stations.

SIA Hop-On
Hop onto this tourist bus service and explore the shopping, cultural and entertainment areas within the city. The SIA Hop-on covers Orchard Road, Bugis Junction, Suntec City, the Civic District, Boat Quay, Chinatown, Little India and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

CityBuzz
Three CityBuzz services loop the city, buzzing at key stops and major tourist attractions, including Orchard Road, Little India, Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Kampong Glam and Suntec City. The air-conditioned double deck buses will allow you to travel in cool comfort while you feast your eyes on the sights of Singapore. CityBuzz will call at all designated stops. - Fares are just SGD 1 a trip by cash or ez-link card. For greater value, a SGD 6 CityBuzzPass packs you with unlimited travel on all CityBuzz services for a whole day. CityBuzzPass is available at all TransitLink Ticket Offices and authorised sales agents.

MRT
The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in Singapore is a modern, air-conditioned passenger train service with stations all over the island. There are three main lines – the North-South line from Marina Bay to Jurong East, the East-West line from Changi Airport/Pasir Ris to Boon Lay, and the North-East line from Harbour Front to Punggol.
You can obtain a copy of A Quick Guide to MRT Travel from the Station Control Rooms in all MRT stations. For more information on both the MRT and bus services, you can refer to the TransitLink Guide which is available at SGD 1.50 in most MRT stations and bus interchanges as well as at major bookstores.
From the city centre, the MRT ride to the Changi Airport station is only 27 minutes. The train service from the Changi Airport station operates at an average frequency of 12 minutes and its service hours are as follows:

First train: 0531 hrs (Mon to Sat), 0559 hrs (Sun and public holidays)
Last train: 2318 hrs (daily)
City Hall station to Changi Airport station
First train: 0609 hrs (Mon to Sat), 0645 hrs (Sun and public holidays)

The fare for a single trip from the Changi Airport station to City Hall station is SGD 1.40. For the convenience of travellers, trains serving the Changi Airport station provide luggage racks and free space in every carriage.
The Rail Travel Information System (RATIS) disseminates real-time information on train arrival times and destinations. The information is displayed on plasma screens in the platform area and on LED panels found on the concourse. Do read the train destinations from the RATIS or listen to in-train announcements to ensure that you are travelling on the right train to your destination.
If you are on board a train going towards Pasir Ris station, you will need to alight at Tanah Merah interchange station and board the train going towards Changi Airport station.
Frequency
Trains operate at intervals of between two and a half minutes and eight minutes from 0530 hrs until 0030 hrs daily. Check at respective MRT stations for precise train arrival/departure timings.
Fares
Travelling on the MRT is cheap, with rides ranging from SGD 0.80 to a maximum of SGD 1.70.
Instead of using cash, you may choose to pay your MRT and bus fares with a stored value ez-link card. The card may be bought or revalued at any TransitLink Ticket Sales Office located in most MRT stations and bus interchanges. Each adult card is sold with a minimum value of SGD 10 plus a deposit fee of SGD 5.

Over 15,000 air-conditioned cabs ply local roads and provide comfortable, hassle-free travel at a very reasonable cost. They can be flagged down 24 hours a day on most roads, with well-marked taxi-stands available outside most major shopping centres and hotels. At Singapore Changi Airport, the taxi stand is located just outside the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 1 and at the end of the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 2 (South Wing).
SMRT Shuttle Service
TAKE FREE SMRT LINK TO CHINATOWN AND LITTLE INDIA
SMRT Link boasts three loop services - Outram Park MRT station to Chinatown (SMRT Link 1), Dhoby Ghaut MRT station to Chinatown (SMRT Link 2), and Dhoby Ghaut MRT station to Little India (SMRT Link 3). Amongst the pick up points are popular places such as People’s Park Complex, Chinatown Point, Selegie Centre and Tekka Mall.
SMRT Link operates on weekends and public holidays from 11am to 10pm, at a frequency of 8 to 15 minutes. The services provide commuters traveling to Chinatown, Dhoby Ghuat and Little India greater connectivity and convenience.
